As I child I always loved creating. My mom taught me to sew at an early age and my grandmother taught me how to bake, I just never could get the hang of crocheting. I took woodshop in middle school and art classes in high school and college. Then I put the creative side of me to the side and went into Marketing working for several Fortune 500 companies and carried my briefcase in the 80’s and 90’s like all the other professional women were told to be back then.
Today, my husband and I of 21 years have raised 4 incredible adult children. For all of their lives, I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom. During that time I was still creative. I sewed I don’t know how many halloween costumes. Created incredible birthday celebrations and graduation parties. Just haven’t done a wedding yet, but I can wait for that one. So, as I write about me, I write excited about this new journey of following my creative outlet. I am so excited to have you along this journey. I don’t know where God is taking me or what will become of these art pieces, but isn’t that the fun part…trusting Him in this journey we call LIFE.
